I have 3 additional emails associated with my geocities website. I have been getting spammed from my own email addresses. I also receive emails from postmaster saying messages from these emails were returned. I did not send anything out?! Should I be worried?

change up your passwords just in case
What was the email of the ‘postmaster’. If you get this, i recommend emailing your email service provider… that way you can find out if THEY are actually sending a ‘did not send’ email or if its some kid just spamming you pretending to be a postmaster.
yes. you should contact the email provider and tell them what you have us.they can block the person from spamming with your email address. good luck.
this may be only a trick to make you open those emails and infect you. however, you may have some ‘email worm’, a program that infects email and use it to spread spam.
you can learn more about computer worms here:
i suggest you to run anti spyware scan to make sure that you are not infected.
I am a Lotus Email Admihistrator. I will try to explain how this works. Person A has your email address in their address book. Person A PC’s gets infected with a virus or spam adware. The virus is designed to look through Person A’s address book, pick an email address at randon (yours), put it in the from field, populate the to field with the remaining email addresses and then send out it’s spam email. Sometimes this could have a virus attached. Because your name is in the from field it appears to be coming from your email address. Not much you can do, unless you can track down where it is coming from. I lucked out one time and found out the spam I was getting was coming from my brothers infected PC. Once he removed my email address I didn’t get any more spam. He cleaned up his PC and that fixed it. Trend Micro has a good online scan for virus and adware just in case your pc is infected. Hope this helps.
